around him to improve what is not yet great and craft new concepts and solutions ahead of the market. This typically includes conceptualising and deploying highly competitive business operating models; optimising enterprise strategies; partnering and deal making
initiatives; as well as driving capital raising efforts and funding programs.

 

He is recognised as a lead thinker in the areas of enterprise strategy and emerging technology adoption approaches and has developed various, advanced frameworks and models in his fields of expertise. Gary has operated extensively as a transaction advisor,
turnaround agent and as general counsel for specific clients, globally and on the African continent, including in the retail, manufacturing, mining, logistics/trading, financial services, hospitality and entertainment industries, and has also operated successfully as CEO during his career. He holds an Honours degree in Commerce from the University of Cape Town. As an industry professional, Gary has played active or leading roles in the Computer Society of South Africa; the International Institute of Management Consultants; as well as the global
Young President’s Organisation (YPO). Gary has recently moderated the IT Leaders Africa Summit; and formed part of the final Accenture Awards Adjudication Panel for the Most Innovative Companies in SA. Gary was born in Port Elizabeth, operated internationally and currently resides in Kenton on Sea, in the Eastern Cape.
